Private Equity Sponsor was looking for primary and secondary market analysis to identify market opportunity and suitable service/software players.
Developed comprehensive analysis over 2 months with focus on:
1. Completed market analysis and defined TAM (by various categories; e.g. global, industry, service/product offerings)
2. Assessed competitive market (e.g. market leaders, market innovators, interview with key players, possible M&A targets)
3. Identified market demand, trends, risks, etc.).

This mid-market chemical manufacturer JV between two global chemical conglomerates, was carved-out into a standalone entity and required an independent ERP strategy and IT setup under a tight deadline to be day-1 ready.
Conducted review of their existing (parent) application, process and IT setup, developed a custom tailored ERP solution and IT support strategy, and led a subsequent one year SAP HANA Greenfield implementation.
Decoupled carve-out from all parent ERP and IT dependencies onto an independent SAP platform. Achieved $14M+ yearly TCO savings, automated ~65% of previous manual process work and reduced financial monthly closing cycles from 12 to 4 days.

After stabilizing the North American program through detailed root-cause analysis and improved PMO/governance setup, diligently worked with the LATAM business leadership and CIO team to develop a strategic, multi-year transformational roadmap to integrate their business into the global processes and SAP solution template.
